We have developed services especially designed for the Early Years sector, to help make it simple to be data compliant and secure.
Nurseries
Our Data and Cyber Protection (Full) service covers all aspects of data protection and cyber security, which not only protects the children in your care, but also the framework of your organisation and will ensure you stand out from other providers as safe and secure in the digital world.
Our Data Protection / Data Security Consultants will support you with guidance in data protection matters, cyber security, and in ensuring the children in your care are protected from online harms.
The service offers a full and comprehensive approach to compliance with GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018 requirements and relevant legislation relating to computer security, use and online safety.
The Full Service Includes:
- Compliance Review
One of our consultants will undertake a full compliance assessment and review this with you to form an action plan for on-going compliance.
- Training
You will have access to our EYFS Bitesize Training Suite, a series of 24 short webinars designed expressly around the considerations and needs of the Early Years sector and with the aim of increasing confidence in dealing with key Data Protection and Security tasks.
- Helpline
Our telephone and email helpline ensures you are able to access our services promptly when you are in need of support.
- Policies and Toolkit
You will receive a Data Protection Handbook and signposting to sector specific online safety and security resources along with a policy pack, including privacy notices and a documentation pack including advice on Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) along with templates for recording and reporting breaches.
Our Data and Cyber Protection (Lite) service offers a value for money service option ensuring even those on the tightest budgets can keep themselves safe and secure.
The “Lite” service is designed to support you at the most critical times and includes:
- An Email helpline for advice on breaches, SARs and other compliance matters
- A self-assessment audit tool giving you the freedom to assess your setting as and when you are ready
- A handbook providing the core compliance information you need
Training and policy offerings are available to purchase separately either on their own or as a suite, giving you complete flexibility to suit your needs. Support for In-house DPOs.
Are you the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for your Nursery? Would you like the comfort of having our experts at the end of the phone to help with breaches, subject access requests, police requests, or simply to better understand your obligations?
Our Early Year’s team have expert knowledge of legislative requirements, professional experience, and understanding of your sector to support you, whatever your needs.
This service is aimed at in-house Data Protection Officers who would like to receive expert support and guidance with the more complicated aspects of compliance.
You will be provided with a self-assessment tool to complete, which will be reviewed by one of our experienced Data Protections Consultants, who can offer help with addressing any concerns or gaps in provision and prioritising any required compliance activity.
You will also be invited to our training session covering the legislative requirements and primary roles and responsibilities of a DPO.
For those that need them, our policy and training suites, or individual elements of them, are available for an additional cost as well as remote or onsite staff training if required.
Childminders
Our Childminder Data and Cyber Protection service is an easily accessible service which supports you with Data Protection, Online Safety and Cyber Security, simply and effectively.
The service is designed to give you all the support you need, tailored to the early years sector, aligning with the new Early Years Framework to meet the compliance challenges faced by childminders in a home setting.
The service includes:
- adaptable template policies and procedures that you can tailor to fit your own setting
- guidance to support your own self-assessment and to formulate your action plan for improving current compliance and ensuring best practice
- access our email helpline for any queries or issues you may have
- a documentation pack which will include an EYFS Handbook
