South West Grid for Learning (SWGfL)

Education Data Hub supports and promotes the work of the SWGfL and the free 360 o tools; 360 o Safe; 360 o Early Years; 360 o Groups and 360 o Secure. These are available to nurseries, schools and colleges, as well as voluntary groups, and are referenced in KCSIE Annexe C.

 

Safer Derbyshire Partnership

Safer Derbyshire Partnership

Education Data Hub, as part of Derbyshire County Council, works closely with Safer Derbyshire, a multi-agency partnership which contributes towards making Derbyshire a safer place to be.

Education Data Hub is working with our colleagues across the partnership to expand the current Digital MOT –a cyber security assessment tool developed by the Community Safety Unit in partnership with the Police Cybercrime Unit.

Helping to make the UK the safest place to live and work online.

Education Data Hub is proud to work with colleagues from the NCSC – part of GCHQ, to create freely available resources for the education sector. This Cyber Resilience Project, the first of this type in the UK, will provide extensive guidance which is designed specifically for early year’s settings, through to FE colleges.

The Education Data Hub are proud to be active members of the IRMS and specialist sub-groups within the IRMS such as the Schools Group, which works to develop guidance and support schools with Data Protection and Information Records Management issues.

IASME

IASME

Education Data Hub actively supports schools undertaking Cyber Essentials Certification. They have been working closely with colleagues from IASME to produce Cyber Essentials guidance documentation for schools. This guidance is sector specific and intended to be accessed by staff without any technical knowledge.

Our GDPR Compliance Software Provider

The GDPR in Schools (GDPRiS) Compliance Management Platform drives our Data Protection Officer service, enabling education settings and their DPO’s to record and monitor compliance and respond instantly to breaches and other issues.

East Midlands Special Operations Unit

East Midlands Special Operations Unit

Education Data Hub has close working links with Derbyshire’s Digital PCSOs to tackle online Anti-social behaviour, protect the vulnerable and promote cyber security. This work overlaps with Regional Organised Crime Units, who provide specialist cyber security functions, to promote the steps that reduce the chances of users becoming a victim of cyber-crime.

East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre

East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre

The Cyber Support Team supports the work of Police Cyber Resilience Centres, in partnership with regional police. We are pleased to have joined the Cyber Resilience Centre Advisory Group, to help support the growth of the centre, provide guidance and advice and influence strategic direction, with education in mind.
