This session talks you through the often tricky topic of Subject Access Requests under the Data Protection Action 2018.

The session will offer practical guidance including:

  • What is a SAR;
  • First response to a SAR;
  • How to compile data needed;
  • What needs to be included;
  • What must/can be excluded;
  • Statutory requirements and response times;
  • How your DPO will support you;
  • Moving toward ‘pain free’ SARS.
