Course Outline
This full day intensive workshop takes a close look at the leadership role in data protection compliance within schools as well as giving delegates a full understanding of the key data protection priorities within their schools and how they can manage them.
Course Description
Starting with the principles of data protection and the obligations schools have in relation to information security and data privacy and moving through to how this should be factored into a data protection strategy for the school and an actionable plan for achieving compliance. To include allocating responsibilities to key staff, conducting information audits, implementing homeworking and clear desk policies and reviewing IT infrastructure.
