Addendum to Child Protection Policy 2025

Following the recommendations from the IICSA enquiry H.5: Access to records | IICSA Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse some safeguarding records need to be retained for up to 75 years, so it is vital they are written in such a way that they can be understood by investigators with no knowledge of the school or its staff – this guidance provides an amendment to your child protection policy if it does not yet contemplate this.
