Whilst many people use PowerPoint, often users don’t make the most of the available features. This session is packed with hints and tips to help you make the most presentations.

Course Outline

Whether you use PowerPoint as a presentation tool or if you support pupils in the classroom to learn about it, this session will help you with the basic understanding of how to use the most useful functions of PowerPoint, enhancing your skills and improving the effectiveness of your presentations

Course Description

Starting by explaining the basics, looking at the menu options and what they mean, and continuing by explaining how to format presentations effectively with a choice of styles and layouts.

The webinar covers the following:

  • A basic overview of PowerPoint
  • Creating slides using templates and built-in themes
  • Setting up master slides, incorporating logos
  • Understanding animations, transitions, and timings
  • Adding and using slide notes
  • Creating handouts
  • Shortcuts and tips

You will also have a chance to ask questions and raise any queries you may have.

Understand how to use the key features of Microsoft PowerPoint to make your working life simpler and your presentations stronger.

Course Audience

Suitable for those who teach the basics in the classroom, use the software in the school office, or create presentations at the most senior level
